Not having access to the camera I had been using has been a major blow to my photographic aspirations. Yet, the inimitable David Burnett puts things in perspective in a recent NYT article:
"Ultimately, the technology is just a tool. It's a tool that lets your eye become the picture. It's easy to get caught up with all of the gadgets and all of the technology, but the most important thing is just to get comfortable with the tools you have."
So, here's to getting comfortable all over again...and in more ways than one.
